How do you grow a meaningful organization?

Operations
Does your organization struggle with knowledge management?
Here are the signs:
- People waste time asking questions instead of producing work
- Answers aren't written down and the cycle of waste continues.
- Everyone comes up with their own way of doing things instead of following a standard protocol
This is particularly bad when it happens to your sales and marketing team.
It completely drags down revenue and morale.
I specialize in:
- Building an organization-wide "Handbook First Culture" (we did this at GitLab).
- Demonstrating the immediate benefits of good documentation
- Instilling habits of "leave it better than you found it"
Sales
I can help you exceed revenue targets
Most organizations I come across have a sales playbook that is half baked.
My job is to bring discipline through strategic exercises. It's a common problem for salespeople to over-improvise.
Rather than winging it, your organization needs a water tight sales process through a "Buyer's Matrix" that crisply outlines "The 3 Whys"
- Why change?
- Why now?
- Why you?
When your buyer can answer The 3 Whys and is emotionally motivated to follow through, you'll make a sale every time.
Video production
We've all seen the power of video
Throughout my career, I've made videos to help organizations spread their message.
Example #1 - Journalism that Matters
I made this for a conference at the MIT Media Lab by Journalism that Matters. It was the first ever event to bring together journalists and librarians together for the greater good.
Example #2 - International Rescue Committee
I've worked with many non-profits. Here is a promotional video for the International Rescue Committee, promoting their work to help victims of war and persecution.
Example #3 - Mozilla
Here's a 30 second commercial I made to advertise a youth media program that I ran for the Mozilla Foundation.
